Our Fees

Affordable fees for improving your financial position

Financial Advisor Fees Sunshine Coast

In our first and complementary consultation with you, our advisers will seek to broadly understand your current situation (financials, life stage, other aspects) as well as discuss our initial advice fee and ongoing fees associated with our services.

Prior to preparing any advice or providing any financial services to you, we will agree upon the remuneration that will apply. This will be confirmed by a Letter of Engagement that will outline the scope of advice and financial services proposal including a fee quote for same, which must be signed by yourself and a Guide Financial Director.

The cost of providing a financial advice service to you, including initial consultation, strategy development, product considerations and a statement of advice (including implementation of that advice) will depend upon the nature and complexity of the advice and or service provided. You will be charged a fee-for-service for this.

Our Financial Advisor Fees are Pre-advised

For initial advice, including the preparation of a Statement of Advice, the fee starts at $2,500 (incl. GST) however this fee will vary depending on the complexity of the advice and the number of entities involved in the advice – for example, discretionary trusts, companies and self- managed superannuation funds.

Full details of all fees and/or commissions for the ongoing management of your affairs will be outlined in the statement of advice that we will provide to you. For now, we can advise that:

  • Any ongoing fees can range up to 1.1% (including GST) of the investment amount or can be an agreed fee, (from $2100 ex GST), which will be reviewed annually.

  • Where we provide lending and mortgage broking services, typically there is no cost to clients as we are paid a commission by the successful lender.

  • If we provide advice for insurance, this involves the payment of Brokerage/Commission and may cover the cost of your advice document.

Engaging Financial Planning experts is a good investment

When looking at the fees you pay a financial advisor it’s important to consider:

  • Most people don’t have the time, skills, insights or discipline to create solid investment strategies for their own future, hence why having a financial advisor working for you is a good investment
  • That because of the advice provided by a financial advisor you will be in a much better position, financially.
